2005 Lions' Pride Marching Band

 

The Lions' Pride Marching Band under the direction of Ms. Brandi Jason, proudly presented their 2005 show, New World Symphony, in competitions around the region. New World Symphony consists of three movements: Allegro Molto, Largo, and Allegro Con Fuoco.  The band performed at Tournament of Bands competitions as well as at all home football games.

Woodwinds: Billy Marshall (Captain), Chelsea Dubbs, Megan Franey, David Miller, Brett Reynolds, Jennifer Pesto, Meghan Tomlin, and Shannon Owings.

Brass: Spencer Heaps (Captain), Daniel Brown, Caitlin McDowell, Andrew Llewellyn, Jon Dorsey, Jason Dubbs, Lindsey Tomlin, Jordan Dubbs, and Patrick Rooney.

Front Ensemble: Mary Andrucyk (Captain), D.J. Andrucyk, Alex Garbarino, and Amy Deloriea.

Battery: Brandon Ambush (Captain), Michael Harkins, Tim Donahue, Trevor White, Keith Brown, and Brian Dressler.

Colorguard: Christine DeBenedictis, Brie Mullen (Captains), Kaycee James, Ashlyn Cohill, Megan Cohill, Ashley Fuller, Casey Kimmey, Carrie Quattlander, Jennifer Plummer, Rebecca Eastman, Caitlin Whitlock, Kathryn Noppenberger, and Sarah Sliviak.

 

Competition Schedule and Results:

Sept. 17 - Liberty High School Extravaganza: Liberty performed in exhibition and received a score of 70.85.

Sept. 24 - Red Land HS, Camp Hill, PA: Liberty placed 4th out of 7 bands in Group I with a score of 75.10.

Oct. 1 - North Carroll HS, Hampstead, MD: Liberty took 1st Place with a score of 76.80.

Oct. 8 (afternoon) - Northern HS, Dillsburg, PA. Rained out.

Oct. 8 (evening) - Carlisle High School, Carlisle, PA. Rained out.

Oct. 15 - Middletown Area HS, Middletown, PA. Liberty placed 4th out of 8 Group I bands with a score of 79.80.

Oct. 22 - Cumberland Valley HS, Mechanicsville, PA Liberty scored 84.25 to take 2nd Place from a field of 8 Group I bands. The band gave a superb performance under dismal weather and field conditions.

Oct. 29 (afternoon) - Calvert Hall HS, Towson, MD  Liberty placed 2nd with a score of 85.75 and won Best Colorguard

Nov. 5 - Chapter 5 Championship - Century HS, Sykesville, MD Liberty scored 89.05 to earn 2nd Place and Best Colorguard out of the 6 bands in Chapter V - Group I. 

Nov. 12 - Atlantic Coast Championship - Scranton, PA Liberty scored 89.70 to finish 12th out of the 27 Group I finalists.
